Goodwood Revival
We were up bright and early for our day out at the Goodwood Revivial. We stepped back in time and enjoyed the air displays, the motor racing, the dancing and drinking!
During the Second World War the Goodwood Motor Circuit was home to several spitfire squadrons and was a key Battle of Britain airfield.
This is a fantastic excuse to dress up in vintage fashion of the 1940s, 50s, 60s. I chose a 1950’s outfit with a waist so nipped I could hardly breathe. You can have your hair and make-up done from the lovely ladies at Betty’s. You can enjoy the fun at the Butlins roller disco, or watch the riders on the Wall of Death!
Our favourite place is sitting in the deck chairs near the airfield and enjoying a Pimms listening to the big band of a bygone era and lifting our eyes to the sky as the Hurricanes and Spitfires fly overhead. Booked my tickets for next year already.
Remember When
My dad passed away in January this year. I am looking at the shed my dad made and then repaired each year as the winter took its toll. Today the flowers are blooming the sun is shining and it's a lovely day. As I sit in the sunshine I think about my children and his grandchildren he has left behind. We hold very special memories. I got each of my children to write their own memory of my dad to give to my mother. He was a very lovely man. I know she holds it dear and it sits in pride of place in her hallway.
New website for Autumn 2012
We know we’ve been quiet for a while, but we’ve been busy preparing our new website and blog, together with lots of new cards and prints to show you.
So, after months of planning, tweaking, more planning and more tweaking, we are finally delighted to launch our brand new site. The new site is, however, causing us all to put on weight - every new product upload seems to require a 'celebration' cake treat!
We’ll be updating our blog regularly with news about our products and unique personalised gift ideas (and maybe pictures of all the cakes we're eating).
Why not visit the new website and tell us what you think - we would love to hear from you.
Baby’s First Christmas
Delighted to hear about a good friend’s new baby news, and still having fun designing and producing our personalised Christmas cards, we decided to design a special card to celebrate baby Bella's first Christmas. Bella's Mum and Dad will have a unique 'keepsafe' to add to their 'baby album'.
Our website is about to launch
